 Where We Are

Our address is 1787 Greenhouse Road, Breslau, Ontario.

Not long ago, the Township of Woolwich renamed most of the roads in the township, so the name of our road on many older maps may indicate it as being Woolwich Township Road #72, not Greenhouse Road.
All highway signs on Provincial Highway # 7 however now read Greenhouse Road.

Our garden centre sits approx. 1/2 km south of Provincial Highway #7 between Kitchener and Guelph, on Greenhouse Road.

Map To Grobe's Nursery & Garden Centre
Directions
From Cambridge - Hwy 24/401

Take Highway 24 north toward Guelph. At the lights at Maple Grove/Fisher Mills turn left. Go ½ mile to the lights at Beaverdale Road. Turn right onto Beaverdale Road. Follow Beaverdale Road to its end where it will come to a T intersection at Beaverdale Golf Course at Kossuth Road. Turn left on Kossuth Road. Follow Kossuth Road about 1 mile to the first right, which is Shantz Station Road. Turn right on Shantz Station Road. About 3 miles down Shantz Station Road you will cross under a railway overpass. About 50 yards past the railway overpass you will come to a gravel road called Kramp Road. Turn left on Kramp Road and follow it to the end, where it will intersect with Greenhouse Road. Turn right on Greenhouse Road and our garden centre will be ¼ mile up Greenhouse Road on the right.

From Kitchener

Take Highway 7 (or Victoria Street North) eastward towards Guelph. You will cross the bridge over the Grand River and come to a traffic signal directly past that adjacent to the village of Breslau. Continue eastward through those lights and up a steep incline eastward, crossing subsequently another traffic intersection at Fountain Street. Eastward of Fountain Street Highway 7 will narrow from 4 lanes wide to 2 lanes wide, with the right lane suddenly merging into the left. Greenhouse Road is located about ½ mile past this merge and is clearly marked. If you look to the south from Highway 7, you will see our bright orange buildings, our greenhouse, and a large Grobe Nursery Sign. Turn right onto Greenhouse Road and go ¼ mile south and you will see the entrance to our business.

From Guelph

Take the Hanlon Expressway (Highway #6) to Woodlawn Road (Highway #7). From the Hanlon turn left (or from Fergus Highway #6 turn right) and continue to head westward toward Kitchener-Waterloo for about 18 km. You will come to a traffic signal at Shantz Station Road where you will see a Pioneer Gas Station at the corner. You are now close to our turn off. Continuing westward through the traffic intersection on Highway #7 at Shantz Station Road you will pass Memory Gardens Cemetery on your left and you will approach a hill. On the other side of the hill you will see Greenhouse Road clearly marked. If you look to the south, you will see our bright orange buildings, our greenhouse, and a large Grobe Nursery sign from Highway #7. Turn left onto Greenhouse Road and go ¼ mile south and you will see the entrance to our business.

From Cambridge - Fountain Street Route

Take Fountain Street Northward past the Toyota Plant, past the Airport, and then continue on the new Fountain Street bypass of the village of Breslau until you reach the lights at Highway #7. At Highway #7 turn right. Highway #7 will narrow from 4 lanes wide to 2 lanes wide within 1 mile, with the right lane merging into the left. Greenhouse Road is located about a ½ mile past this merge and is clearly marked on your right. If you look to the south, you will see our bright orange buildings, our greenhouse, and a large Grobe Nursery sign from Highway #7. Turn right onto Greenhouse Road and go ¼ mile south and you will see the entrance to our business.
